Here is a
excellent barely used vintage Lufkin  (Saginaw, Mi.) No. 8 rule clamp.
It can accept up to 1-1/4" wide rules.   Pristine, no prior owner engravings on it with a beautiful patina color from the old case hardening.  You can also adjust the 2 very small screws for the tension drag you desire if you wish on the 2 adjustable rule studs.  The Starrett similar No. 299 sold today is fro reference.
