    A little history:  On the print this coloring was called
    cyanide with color. I
    t was a favorite with Doug Starrett Senior as Starrett was the only ones doing it, but as the name applies actual cyanide capsules were used ( they looked like a bar of soap) in a molten red furnace then quenched in a thick oil bath , it produced a very hard case and everyone was slightly different in appearance.
