    Description

    Wow, what a gem! Purchased with it's original leather case that they were sold with from the 1920's. Minty condition that looks like it just left the factory.
    Has all the original factory tool marks and the corners are crisp and sharp and untouched.
    I have included the page from the Brown & Sharpe 1924 Catalog 29 which shows the sizes available. This has the catalog 11 graduated (100th and 64ths).
    I had never seen one of these model 318 rules. I could only find one site that referenced  a 318 rule at auction years ago. (No free price listed.) And that one was quite worn and pitted.
    This one is like new. I could only find 3 small dark spots on the rule. The edges are sharp without a single ding or dent. (See photos.)
    These were the most accurate way "of the day" that you could visually measure with the least amount of parallax error possible.
    Even if you don't want to own this, check it out because it may be the only one you will get to see.
