    Description

Vintage 1930 Theater Ad for Clara Bow etc. 4 Movies at the Strand on Paper Bag
Ephemera. I don't know if it was a common practice in 1930 to advertise movies scheduled at the theater on a paper bag, but I know it's quite uncommon to save the bag. The Strand in Lowell ran from 1917 to 1974
The bag is a brown pin striped bag with a slight waxy feel.
    11 1/8 X 13
Condition: small piece missing on bottom (approx. 1/8" X 3/4") Top has several creases and tears with a triangle missing approx. 1 1/2" X 1 1/2"
The bag advertises the theater and the schedule for 4 movies - all of which were released in 1930:

    "Publix Strand Lowell, MASS.
